MCG Planning provide comprehensive, objective and reliable planning advice to enable clients make informed decisions to optimise the potential of their sites and properties. We prepare clear and robust planning strategies for clients to navigate the complex Irish Planning System.
We have a proven track record over 20 years of securing planning permissions for our clients. Our service includes managing and co-ordinating multi-disciplinary design teams to deliver comprehensive and viable planning permissions across a wide range of development types: residential (including Large Scale Residential Developments (LRDs), commercial/office, retail, industrial/employment, healthcare, education, tourism/hospitality, infrastructure/energy.
We have extensive experience in the preparation and project management of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIAR), Retail Impact Assessment (RIA), Social & Community Audits and other socio-economic reports as required to accompany medium and large-scale planning applications.
In addition, we represent clients in relation to all other aspects of the Irish Planning Process including: Development Plan / Local Area Plan Submissions, Preparation of Site Masterplans, Exempted Development Declarations, Extending the Life of Planning Permissions, Planning Appeals & Appeal Responses, Further Information Requests, Planning Enforcement and Planning Compliance.

We have a proven track record of delivering high-quality, residential permissions across a wide range of location types and scales, from small urban infill to Large Scale Residential Developments (LRDs). Since 2018 we have secured permissions for over 8,000 residential units for our clients.

We have secured permissions for many large-scale office developments in Dublin and other cities. We also achieve successful planning outcomes for various industrial development types, including manufacturing, warehousing and data centres.

We deliver permissions for educational developments including schools, third-level campus developments and student accommodation.
